Can I ask you how the diet has worked for you? I'm trying to research and see what options are best for me.

Thanks for any insight.

Hi Everyone,
I'm starting the Extreme Fat Smash diet for the second time now. I did it in October and I lost 7 lbs in one week! But I got so busy with school (I'm a senior in college) that I didn't have time for all the exercise and preparing every meal. I'm hoping to continue the diet and lose about 25 pounds. Is anyone else on here trying it? Maybe we could chat about it and keep each other motivated. For anyone else thinking about trying it--it worked for me in the first week and it gets you to eat healthier and eat smaller portions. Plus, if you mess up, you can always hop back on it, no big deal.

Emily

Hi There,

I found all of the posting interesting. I personally started on the diet back in Sept. Since have lost 20-pounds, and it could have been more if I had exercised properly. I gained three pounds during the Turkey day, and have lose those since then. I have a pretty light goal but I'm 10-lbs away so it's not tough once you get started and stay on it for a while. I encourage you to stick with it because it's easy and not to hard once you get use to the idea of eating more fiber in your daily diet.
Keep in touch so I can see how well you do. I should be going strong again at the beginning of the year with both exercising the proper way so I'm hyped.
Let me know if you have any ideas of how we will survive over Christmas. I was looking for ideas from Dr. Ian on how we go about that.

» veggiehead - fat smash?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to research some different diets. I just read an article on the fat smash diet in First magazine, and it sounds like it would be a pretty easy fit for me. Only problem is I live in EXTREME northern Michigan and my little local book shop says it'll take her 2 weeks to get the book in! The security on our dial-up internet service (which is all that's available) isn't good enough to order on-line. We've had problems with that before...
So I'm wondering this. Is there a web site or something I can go to and learn how to start the diet? I'm totally psyched to get going on this! I have about 35 pounds to loose, and I LOVE veggies! (Used to be vegan- my little sis calls us "veggieheads!" LOL)I understand the first part is mostly veggies- are there any to avoid, or are they eaten in certain combinations or what? And what should I be doing for exercise at first? Anyone with input, please post advice for me!!!
Thanks!!!

If you seriously love veggies, this diet may work well for you.

Here is a site that could be helpful for you to get started before your Extreme Fat Smash Diet book comes in:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/fat...

It is a Yahoo group that you would need to join, but then you could access the four stages of the Fat Smash Diet and gain access to Fat Smash recipes.

Good luck!

Hi everyone! Just a quick question- I'm waiting for my book to arrive- should be here in a week & a half! (Hooray!)
What should I be doing for exercise in phase one while I wait for my book?
Thanks in advance!
